Great location to stay, extremely suggest it. You won&'t regret it. Pavlos the owner is a top class guy. Loves a warm and friendly chat, extremely welcoming && accommodating. Would return just to have a chat with him again. Lodging is excellent, extremely comfortable and secure. Air con. Fridge, private bath rooms and showers each room.

I had an superb time here and thoroughly recommend it. Pavlos is an awesome host, really looks following you, funny and always has some great stories! The location is great as it is literally 3-4 mins from the nightlife and yet you don&'t hear any noises from it at all whilst at the hostel. Will definitely be coming back!

Pavlos the property owner was magnificent and always up for a chat. We had a private room with private bathroom and both were well kept and cleaned daily. Very impressed. Location is a mins walk to the principal square and busy night light but the actual accommodation is noiseless and relaxing.

My friend and I stayed at the Windmill Rooms for 2 nights. It was a really brief taxi ride from the port and cost about 6-7 euros one-way. The owner, Pavlos, was awesome and really welcoming. He was extremely friendly and always went out of his way to create sure we were having the most comfortable stay possible. The hostel was right inside center of the village and just a few mins walk to all the main bars and restaurants. I always felt secure walking home, even into the early hours. Air-conditioning and ensuite bathroom was great. Highly recommend it!

Absolutely loved this place! A 1 minute walk from the main square where all the bars/clubs are located, and 2 mins down to the main street, but also far enough from the noise. so the location can&'t be beat! Pavlos the property owner is the funniest, loveliest, most friendly guy you&'ll ever meet, and goes out of his way to make sure you have the most effective time possible whilst in Ios. The rooms are cleaned every day and have aircon which is a savior, and there&'s also a nice balcony out the front of the building to relax on. Everyone&'s really friendly, nd it&'s also not too faraway from the Mylopolotos beac, walking distance about 15 mins downhill. Definitely book here for your stay in ios, I&'ll be returning! I really loved staying here and am recommending it to all my friends.

The Windmill Rooms is one of the finest places I have ever stayed, thanks mostly to Pavlos, the wonderful owner! He was always up for a chat, extremely generous, and a great source of knowledge! The rooms themselves are great, super clean, and extremely near to each center of town exactly where all of the going out places are, as nicely as the beach. It was such a pleasure to stay there and to meet Pavlos, I hope that I can make it back to Ios one day so that I can check out again!

It was close to the main village, Chora, but it was far out enough so no noises from the night clubs might be heard at night. Good air conditioning.

Absolutely perfect location. almost right in town a really brief walk down side streets to center of clubs really useful at night. walk down to the main beach or a 5 euro cab. Palo the property owner goes above and beyond to accommodate all guests. could not suggest higher.
