Very close to beach and bus stop to go to center. extremely clean and safe. the location was cute. Fragkiskos is the best guy ever;) he s extremely helpful and makes your holiday relax. the cost is really good. my favorite is the radios in the wall of the rooms;)

The room was lovely, really clean and had everything we needed in it! The owner was so friendly and really helpful - he let us check in early right after our overnight ferry which was perfect! Really near the beach and lots of restaurants, bars, shops etc. Simple to use the busses to get to and from the centre/port. Beautiful pool area, free wireless is a bonus too.

Perfect location - near to beach, easy quick bus ride to town, near to food marketplaces and quiet. Remarkable people - Fragiskos was an incredible help with points to do and directions. He has GREAT English speaking skills, which made it extremely easy for directions and other communications. His Helpers were friendly and added to the positive, laid back environment. Fragiskos suggested a daytrip to Matala and directed us how to get there with the car we rented. The BEST day of our trip yet. What a amazing accommodation. The Petousis restaurant nearby looks fancy but is surprisingly cheap and delicious food.

The location was great for what we wanted. For most of our stay we hung around at the gorgeous pool and deck (awesome pool! ) so we didn&'t need to go to Heraklion really often. When we did we took the bus, which came about every 30 minutes (does not run 24hr as far as we know). The bus trip to the middle of Heraklion is 20-25 minutes. The hotel is really close to numerous shops, eating places (try the windmill across the road), ATM, bars and beach. The staff is exceptionally warm and friendly and really very helpful. We stayed in a 3 bed private room, which had a nice bathroom with a huge shower, a kitchen with stove, little oven, mini fridge and dishes (but not many), a safe, and air conditioning. Not only did our air conditioning work really nicely but we were not charged extra! ! The beds were really comfortable and since we were on the first floor we basically had direct pool access. The room was really clean; on two occasions we came back to our room to uncover the floors and bathroom had been cleaned! The room and bathroom were also really huge and spacious as nicely as nicely lit. The Wi-Fi worked really well. As mentioned on the website it works only on the ground floor and by the pool, which was fine for us since our room was on the ground floor. There was an elevator for the upper floors. There were many places to socialize, each inside the reception, by the pool side and outside the principal entrance. It is generally really clean and has a outstanding warm and friendly atmosphere. Whenever we needed one thing the staff provided it immediately. We were a little confused when finding the hostel upon arrival in Heraklion due to the fact we arrived at the central bus station and weren&'t sure how to follow the directions on the website, so we used google maps. DO NOT USE GOOGLE MAPS. Manis Studios is not inside the right location on Google Maps (not the manager&'s fault). There are 2 Nimfon streets near Heraklion, on opposite sides of the city. Make sure you use only the directions and maps provided by the hotel and you will uncover the hotel perfectly fine :). The manager is really gracious about that and if you DO get super lost and it is nighttime he has picked people up from across town exactly where the OTHER Nimfon street is but don&'t abuse this due to the fact he is really nice! Overall really best location we have stayed so far for our month of traveling.

Close to town, beach and bus station; super as basis to stay and from there effortless to get around in Crete; own kitchen in room; very useful and warm and friendly staff

Close proximity to the beach, markets, shops and public transportation. Owner is remarkable and such a huge help! Laid back atmosphere!
