The most warm and friendly employees and travellers here! Honestly both Alex&'s and George make you feel at home. George cooks up a mean sweet pancake and smoothies, and Alex knows how to bake a decadent cake! :P The sleeping arrangements were fine and decent although the noise can be echoed from other travellers from the wooden floorboards. Would feel comfortable staying longer for sure :)

Place was super cute, owner was super friendly and helpful. cooking area was good, wireless was good, showers were nice (although at the back of the hostel so you kind of had to trek from your room). no lockers within the room although it was low season so not a problem for me - i have no idea the situation during the high season (maybe you can rent them) Super near to the sites of Rethymno so overall a win in my opinion.

Great environment to meet people on the terrace. The old town has a lot of character with lots of shops, bars, eating places and cafes. The host is ridiculously helpful and will make the time to answer totally any inquiries you have about rethymno and Crete in general.

The owner is really helpful and approachable. The location is perfect; minutes away from the bus stop and right in the middle of the Old Town. Bathrooms and rooms are clean. The environment is fantastic for solo travelers as there are always individuals hanging out on the deck.
