Travelling as a couple, we needed a hotel for night prior to picking up our car and heading west. A hotel not a hostel. Clean, secure and great staff! 4 min walk to center square - but not right on top of everything which is very good in case you have a car and are looking for parking etc.

This spot was amazing. Yes, the decor is plain and this is definitely a budget hotel, but for what you pay you can&'t ask for more. Its only a few shorts blocks from the middle of town (lions square) which puts in a perfect spot to anything throughout Heraklion. The staff, however, were what set this hotel above the rest. Awesome hospitality, and they go out of their way to help you out. They really treat you like family

Location, Location Location. Everything you might desire to see inside the city is really near, although the city is not that large either. Be advised, this is hotel no a hostel, so a there is certainly not a lot of additional services.

I would like to recommend hotel mirabello to anyone goes to Heraklion Crete due to the fact of the amazing location, the helpful friendly staff, the fantastic value for money, the outstanding atmosphere and also the very very clean rooms. I have been there 3 times with friends and we really enjoyed our stay. We will be back.
