The staff was really friendly, although my German wasn&'t so good. It was really fresh and clean (room were cleaned each day). The really good thing is that in room were lockers, where we could lock our mobile phones etc. The location is also great, it&'s only few mins walking from Bahnhof Neustard and tram station is really close. This is my second stay in this hotel and if I go to Dresden again, I will select this hotel again.

Beautiful place to stay. The cleanest hostel environment you can find. Free wifi. Everything is kept clean. Free lockers in the room.

The dorm has been left dirty throughout my 3 day stay, despite me letting the employees know. The materasses were thin and curve shaped within the middle. Beds make noises when moving. The rest of the place is gorgeous but I do not reccomend dorms.

Hofgarten 1824 was superb value for money. Booked two double rooms with en-suite. Both rooms were spotless with a bright cool decor. The en-suite was extremely clean with a great shower. It was a short walk from the Neustadt stattion and is close to town.

Good hostel for comforting and not partying. But close enough to bar area, so one could party there, just not a hostel chill or feel.
