Exteremely handy location, extremely clean, really warm and friendly English-speaking employees and spacious for a single room. Breakfast was greater than expected. There&'s TV, hairdryer, etc. efficient enough for a brief stay.

Although a two star hotel, Englebertz is extremely central, mins from the cathedral, museums (including the Wallraf virtually across the road) and river. The employees are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms smart and clean. No fuss, no frills but by no means austere or spartan either - ideal for the traveller on a budget.

Very warm and friendly and efficient staff. Our toilet flush was broken on arrival but fixed very quickly. Excellent location right between the shops and riverside restaurants and bars. Really fantastic buffet breakfast too.

A very good hotel for the price. Quite close to Cathedral. Good breakfast, clean rooms, warm and friendly staff. If check out Koln again, would possibly stay there again.
