The environment from the walk from the train station to the hotel isn&'t that great, but the hotel to the port is perfect. Along with the environment of the hotel itself is really nice!

We stayed at this hotel for the second time already, so it was obviously great enough for us to come back. It&'s a basic, simple hotel (rather a hostel really) which gives you all you need for a comfortable, affordable stay. The staff is super friendly and very helpful at all times. An extra plus is that the reception is open 24/7. The hotel is located among Prefecture und Cours Julien, so it&'s really right where things are going on, nice pubs and restaurants are simply around the corner, so are shops. It&'s just a brief stroll doen to the Vieux Port. The street itself is quiet, the view from the windows is magnificent (we were able to see Notre Dame de la Garde. ). Rooms are cleaned every single day and also the hostel is really clean overall. Still, some of the facilities (bathrooms etc) are a little run down, which does not mean they&'re dirty. They&'re just not super new. Breakfast is cheap, but nothing special. The typical stuff you&'d get in any youth hostel. You&'re definitely better off finding a nice cafe inside the sun and settling there for some cafe au lait and pastries. Still, the breakfast option is great if you are in a hurry inside the morning. Parking is 6 Euro per night, wich was okay for us, simply because it&'s actually really quite hard to uncover parking inside the inner city.

Located inside the middle of Marseille, large room, clean, warm and friendly staff, value for money, view from the 7th floor over Marseille.

It was really clean and felt really safe. The rooms are spacious and have a tv and bathroom in each one. Great location too.

The room is clean, well-facilitated. The location is near to the Viex port, and it&'s 24 hour front desk.

Good value for money. Much far better than expected. Nice spacious and very clean room.

Contrary to some of the reviews I had read, the employees was extremely warm and friendly and helpful and even let us store our luggage and our other friends' luggage behind the desk for the rest of the day right after we checked out. Though the room was minimally decorated/furnished etc, it was extremely clean and satisfactory. Just make sure you bring your own shampoo/toiletries.
