The hotel is relatively old building with a lot of character. As the width of the overall building is narrow, the rooms are themselves quite narrow too, but this gives a a lot more homely old fashioned feel.

Everyone who worked at the hostel was extremely kind and helpful. They spoke wonderful English. There was a breakfast included (yum! ), and they had activities provided for the residents. Overall, it just had a wonderful environment and was extremely accessible.

It was a close walk to the city center along with the train station. The beds were fairly huge and comfy. The employees was relatively warm and friendly and overall there were no huge issues that caused too much discomfort.

The employees were extremely accommodating as we were unable to to get a train connection out of Caen due to a public holiday. They allowed us to access their wifi, even though we were not paying guests. They had numerous brochures and gave us info about the city and surrounding areas. We were extremely impressed by the service we received.
