Very welcoming - you feel like part of the family. Intimate location - we were the only travelers for 5 days. Food is fantastic and fresher than we&'ve ever had especially the fish. Really silent to kick back and relax. Lots of wildlife to be seen and you can cockle pick at the shoreline.

Lovely individuals in a really relaxed place. They took us on a fijian style picnic on a nearby island, where we had smoked fish with lemon && chili, cassava, coconut etc, really delicious! And to a beach with great snorkeling another day. Planned to stay for 2 nights, but ended up spending a week in BOP :) They also arranged us to join a fishing boat to get back to mainland way cheaper than the yellow boat.

Amazing food, large portions too. Employees couldn&'t do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Great points of interest from bures on top of the hill Loved taking kayaks out to a deserted beach with a picnic lunch and spending the day snorkelling. Barbeque on the beach and kava ceremony was a lot of fun. Great place to go to if you want a far more personalised, fijian stay.

The staff who work here are amazing! we were treated like household and had lots of fun. they dont really have a beach but they were much more than pleased to take us out of their boat to the blue lagoon to go snorkelling for free. Volley ball with the kids was fantastic fun and Eddie&'s singing was the best.

The employees was the finest component of Bay of Plenty! They are all so welcoming and warm; they made us really feel right at home. The points of interest from the bures are amazing, the food (included inside the price) is great along with the activities were exciting and fun. On our last night we sat down to the fresh, creative tropical menu while Steve, the chef, and Eddie, the groundskeeper, were serenading us and even wrote me a love song! Although there is certainly no beach, the employees had no problem making the short transfer every single day to the beach exactly where the film 'Blue Lagoon' was shot. The swimming and snorkeling there was great. The longer we stayed, the much more we loved it here so you have to stay at least 2 nights (we stayed 3) and do as a lot of of the no cost activities as possible! The Fijian lessons, the farm visit, basket weaving and coconut demo were highlights! Dan was the most welcoming host we've ever met and we miss him already! Would definitely suggest for a few nights of an island hopping trip!

Very friendly staff, has no beach, but plenty of activities and free transport to Blue Lagoon where you can swim and snorkel. Not the place for partying, but higly recommended to see the real fiji life. We loved it!
