In a beautiful setting, the Raintree Lodge is wonderful value for the money. My private room had a beautiful view right on the pond, with a nice deck to sit outside on. The shared bathrooms are fine, and I found them to be clean enough. Food at the restaurant was pretty standard fare, but the staff and view of the pond are nice.

Beautiful location near the rainforest. Its a half an hour from the city centre with the local bus that drops you of in front of the hostel. Superb facilities with a fantastic deck on the fish pont

The rooms were tidy, and had views over the lake. If you wantedto escape from the beach or the busy city then this would be a superb spot to go and see a different side of fiji.

Raintree Lodge was very clean. They upgraded us from the dorms to a villa because they weren't very busy. The property is VERY well kept and clean. We ate breakfast there every morning for a week and it was delicious. The bus is super easy to catch across the street if you want to head to Suva for about $1. 25 USD. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
