As with other reviewers was very pleasantly surprised by the Ashurst Lodge Guest House. Our room was ensuite and it would appear that all the bath rooms had been renovated recently. Bed comfortable, room a decent size. Breakfast good. Properly worth money paid.

Owners were friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless, full of character and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and there was a lot of it.

Very quiet- awoke to the sound of seagulls! Friendly, interested staff/owners who tried to answer all questions. Lovely, spacious room.

Lovely. For the same price (and in some cases less than) as what I&'ve paid for hostels, my room was private and had a television with awesome reception. Woman owner was especially pretty but non-intrusive.
