The backpackers wasn&'t difficult to locate if you check it out ahead of you set off, and though it was a bus ride from the bus interchange/train station, it was only about 10 minute walk from Southsea shopping center and a few mins walk from the sea front. Neighborhood felt secure and hostel felt secure and clean. Staff were warm and friendly - booked a taxi cab for me to the ferryboat terminal and pointed me in the right direction.

The helpfulness of the staff. They went out of their way to help me in numerous ways. The location was great, just outside the city centre, just an straightforward and cheap bus fare or 30 mins walk. but right by the sea and some historical sights, and close to a lovely green region to chill in the sun.

People from all over the place, calm and warm and friendly atmosphere, all of the facilities you may need (WiFi is no cost for instance, washing and drying not too expensive), near the seaside! reasonably priced.
