I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! Honestly, after reading some of the other reviews I was a bit worried, but I decided to book anyway due to the fact it was by far the cheapest cost I could find. I am so glad that I did! The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. I was even allowed to check into my room a little early, rather than have to store my bag and return later and I was provided with all of the information I needed; maps, bus and taxi cab info, directions, where to go inside the vicinity etc. My room was lovely; it had all of the necessary facilities (even a micro wave and a little balcony, which I hadn&'t been expecting! ) and there was a nice selection of sweet treats with the tea and coffee. Some other reviewers have commented negatively about cleanliness, but I found my room, sheets, towels and so on to be completely clean! The building is quite old, so obviously doesn&'t &'sparkle&' inside the same way as a new-build chain hotel room does, but the building has much more character and soul than a new-build chain hotel! Unfortunately I didn&'t manage to wake up in time for breakfast but they offer you a Full-English (with a veggie option) for only &xa3;3. 50 which seems to me to be incredibly great value. I would completely stay here again.

Conveniently located in Headingley, in-between the Cricket Club and the High Street. I also liked the fact that there was parking space on the premises.

The nice and warm and friendly atmosphere of hotel and staff. Handy for going to the city centre even the location is outside the city centre. The hotel is greater than what we have imagined before we arrived there.
