It is a low-budget facility exactly where the air smells moldy. Rooms are small and dated but the employees is nice. Location is great. Of you stay a lot in your hostel Alma Dover is not for you. The general impression is average.

The property was very near to the train station, Dover High Street and a 15 minute walk to the castle or docks. The rooms (I stayed in a room with two single beds) were small and compact, but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was again, easy but nice and served from 8-9.

The rooms are clean and simple. The beds are really comfortable. The employees is helpful, though a little kurt and unavailable.

The property was outstanding value and is best for those wishing to stay over night prior to taking an onward journey to mainland Europe. The owner was warm and friendly and helpful as properly as the facilities were great.

What a horrible place, don&'t stay here! There are loads of b&&bs and hotels up the road that are a lot nicer for the same price. I called up to confirm our booking following we reserved online. We called on the day of arrival to let the rude owner know when we were arriving to have the door literally slammed in our faces due to the fact he had given our rooms away. Disgusting hostel and disgusting behavior from the owner, not what you need when you have cycled 100 miles from London! Inside the end it was actually a good thing as it looks like. An awful location to stay.
