Great food and fire spot only downside was kids running up and down the corridor looking for ghosts early morning and knocking on our door

The two lounges with cushy sofas, armchairs and log fires are brilliant! Soooo comfortable. Well-equipped self-catering kitchen. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

One of the classiest hostels Ive seen. there seem to be a few like it in Derbyshire ;) Amazing character and nicely thought out. Noiseless rooms to hide from the school groups, a decent cooking area and nicely stocked bar. Even a petting zoo for the kids. Numerous fantastic walks and rides inside the area.
