Definitely the jewel of the Nile. Book here and you won&'t be disappointed, it is a small boutique hotel which is quiet but just down the street from the ferryboat which is only a 1 LE ferryboat ride that takes 2 mins to downtown Luxor. The ferries run continuously so don&'t let being on the west bank deter you plus there are many local shops on the west bank too (but I don&'t think any ATM&'s). You will enjoy a view of the nile or the pool from your room and they are properly kept, clean and comfortable. You even get a bath tub and refrigerator which we loved following all of the hostels we had stayed in lately! Free WiFi, free breakfast and also the pool is its own little oasis. We took a taxi from the train station to the hotel on our arrival but you are much far better off to just get a taxi to the ferryboat and ride it over. You won&'t miss the hotel and you would pay about 20 LE instead of 100 LE which is what we did on our way back.

The location on Luxor&'s west bank is excellent in case you want a slightly quieter location. It&'s the nearest to the Nile of all of the west bank hotels and provides gorgeous views at sunrise.
