Cheap and cheerful hostel. Comfortable room. WiFi everywhere. Great location in down-town Cairo. Few mins walk from Egyptian museum and Nile - can see them from the comfortable public areas. Near to metro. Employees are amazing! So friendly and kind. Shehab the property owner invited me to a cafe to drink and chat and to eat with the staff inside the evening during Ramadan. Hassan was super fantastic - he showed me round and helped me find places - finally I got a SIM card at Vodafone right after we tried 3 times! Haha. Walla gave me so much information about Cairo. And they arranged fantastic trip to pyramids at reasonable price. I recommend this spot to anyone coming to Cairo. And it is safe for single female traveller which is so critical in Egypt and everywhere!

First of all Egypt is secure ! I had all the attraction for myself ! the hostel is really good, located in downtown, 5min walk from the egyptian museum or a subway station, the staff is great, the wireless is fast, its cheap, clean, breakfast included and hot showers ! thanks extremely much for the 7 days I stayed here !

The hostel is in a great location -- near the museum, Tahrir square, and the metro. From the common area, there is a great view of the Nile and the Cairo Tower. The staff is really friendly, and willing to help out with numerous odds and ends (laundry, printing a train ticket, arranging transportation). A simple breakfast is included -- bread, jam, coffee/tea, hard boiled egg. Bathrooms always had hot water, TP, soap. Overall, I spent 11 days here, and will return inside the future.

With low priced cost you get an excellent location, warm and friendly staff and clean rooms. We stayed here for two weeks and I have no complains. The hostel is extremely cosy and individuals working there helpful and welcoming so they made us really feel like home.

The location was best as it is close to the Egyptian Museum and good, affordable eateries, Clean. The employees was helpful and speak English. As a certified guide, Hassan offered a wealth of Egyptiology knowledge. And yes, Cairo was safe at the same time as other locations I have a look at - Aswan, Luxor and Alexandria.
