Best hostel I&'ve stayed at in Quito. Extremely friendly and helpful staff- they&'ll let you stay inside the common areas until your departure time even following you&'ve checked out of your room. Breakfast provided. Free net and a computer to use it on in case you didn&'t bring your own. Clean rooms. Overall a great place.

After a complete mess up by posada del maple we ended up staying at the&" sister&" hostel alcala ( see below) which was lovely. Great breakfast and outstanding kitchen.

It&'s a really cute and homey place, but is also really clean, with functioning facilities. The location is great, and also the lady who runs it is really helpful- she even called a cab for me at 4:30 a. m. because I had to leave for the airport.
