Beautiful place, quite, excellent spot to uncover Quito, but to avoid the busy centre.

It&'s a great, cute hostel in a amazing neighborhood of Quito. The street is really noiseless for Quito and it&'s possible to get a good night sleep. The hostel itself is really gorgeous with lots of nice personal touches. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Quito.

It really is like a home stay, a great relaxing location to stay without the party scene. Wifi, washing, map and great notice board all available. Cute dogs and nice yard to sit in. Just down the road from the marketplace and a brief walk to principal road. I think it would be better in case you speak Spanish, some language restrictions but the staff are willing to help and are patient to try communicate.

Staying here is really like staying at a home. You get your own set of keys which I really liked. There is certainly a cooking area you can use with everything you need, and a nice common area. The market place is a few blocks away and Plaza Foch (tourist area) is a 10 minute walk.

Was like staying at a friend&'s house. Really friendly, beautiful house. Good kitchen. Helpful owners. Cute dogs. 10 minute walk from La Mariscal but it&'s nice to be in a silent area.

It was a pleasing stay. The owner was ok, no much more no less. The dogs were really warm and friendly along with the garden was really good.

Absolutely loved this place! The house is beautiful, great location in quiet neighborhood. Kitchen, garden and individuals were very nice.

La Casona de Mario was a great place for an extended stay in Quito. The rooms are clean and the double room was a good size. The kitchen, although small, is well stocked and good for cooking, which was great for us as we were in Quito for 3 weeks so didn't want to eat out all the time. There's a supermarket 1 block away, the property is incredibly secure, and it's close enough to the new town that you can walk there (though not at night) but you're not right in the middle of the Mariscal area.
