Quiet house, helpful staff, good location and neighborhood. We paid for a room to ourselves and got a huge room with two double beds and a twin bed. Secure house, wifi, good breakfast, and a lovely campus! Also, gay warm and friendly :)

This is an excellent little place, if you are looking for a typical hostel this is it! the staff are all volunteers and is owned by the friendliest lady in the world. the staff made me feel so at home and they took me and my friend out on a lot more than one occasion to show us the different places to eat and also the fun places to go, the whole setting of the spot makes it a extremely chilled out and relaxed spot and is an excellent spot to meet new individuals and expertise new points i only planned 5 days in Quito and in the end was there 2 weeks because of how nice everything at Colonial house. could not of been happier with my stay there and would and will be recommending this spot to everyone :D :)

Free pool table and coffee. Lot of character and all that, clearly colonial style building, lots of cool capabilities and set off with lashings of guayasamin inspired arts. Don&'t miss the city tour within the morning.

Very helpfull and warm and friendly staff. We arrived at 12 during the night at the hostel, and were hungry, but there was no location to buy midnightsnacks, so Tom offered us bananas from the kitchen. We slept great, extremely great beds. The breakfast was great, within the patio. The hostel is located in a lovely old house, with spacious rooms and even a garden. And Paulina helped us with booking a bus to Colombia We had a extremely nice stay, thanks
