This is such an excellent hostel - can&'t suggest it enough. The owners are so friendly and helpful and will really go the extra mile to create you really feel comfortable. It&'s in an excellent location exactly where you can see the true Cuba and it feels really safe, particularly walking around the region at night. The rooms are comfy and clean and the bathroom is fantastic too - there is a wonderful shower with warm water and full access to lockers and the kitchen. We also had breakfast here every day (for a affordable price) and it was totally delicious. I would really suggest this hostel to all travellers!

Iraida and Alejandro were extremely nice && helpful and gave me a lot of info about Habana and Cuba. It didn&'t really feel like staying in a hostel, it was more staying in a friend&'s house. They also know other casa particulares and can give you great recommandations. That makes travel in Cuba much easier.

I stayed an apartment type room for several times. The owner&'s son, Alejandro was really kind to tell us lots of info we asked or even we didn&'t ask. And every time we had to leave really early inside the morning(like 3:30), he woke up, took the key and saw us off. Was so nice to use wireless there even it&'s slow simply because we couldn&'t locate any other wireless in Cuba. It locates a bit far from the old city, but we could use busses there with only 1 peso, which is less than 5 cents.

One of really few (if not the only :) hostel in Havana. Clean. Very useful staff - especially Senora Iraida is welcoming and wants to make you feel like home.

I liked this place because it is very well located, right after being in the old, noises but stunning Habana down-town walking and spending time, Hotel Iraida delivers a nice place to take a rest, recovery energy and take out again!
