Casa de Ania is an awesome hostel along with the staff is extremely helpfull and felt almost like family. They helped organising cabs and accomodation inside the next city that I visited which is extremely handy due to the fact the Wireless at the nearest hotel was unstable. I would definitely recommend Casa de Ania!

Great location, right near San Lazaro for easy access to collectivos into Centro and Havana Vieja. Near to Calle 23 for going out and close to Maleacon. Extremely very clean, pretty staff, friendly and helpful with questions, outstanding value for money.

Can&'t say enough fantastic things about Casa de Ania. From the moment I arrived I felt at home. Hlet, Ania and Amaryllis are among the warmest, most helpful people I have met while staying in hostels. The rooms are spacious with massive lockers (locks provided), individual lamps, fans and hooks, a balcony and sheets and towels. They present drinks and a very good breakfast at an extra cost. For individual travellers it is the very best option in Havana, I met remarkable people and we went travelling together, so it&'s much far better and more inexpensive than staying alone in a casa particular. Just a note for those needing net - casas do not have internet, the very best option is to go to Hotel Libre and pay 10CUC for a 60 minute card, which you can log in and out with, along with the net is pretty quick. All in all I had an awesome stay, the owners checked on me every single day and went out of their way to help me with everything I needed. Don&'t bother scrolling down to look at other places - just book your bed here. You won&'t regret it!

Casa De Ania was my first stop in Cuba and I liked it so much I stayed a extra 5 days! The staff are great and friendly and would do just about anything to help. The location offers a real cuban experience as its out of the way from tourists. I would absolutely suggest this hostel even for a night!

We liked everything! Our hosts were awesome. Also it helped a lot that Halet could speak pretty good English simply because we had only learnt minimal Spanish at that stage. Extremely safe as there are about 4-5 lockable doors leading to your room and you the keys for all of them on a key ring. We didn&'t eat a lot of food there but the breakfast we did have was always delicous. Extremely extremely warm and friendly individuals and so helpful.

Everything was perfect. Everyone was extremely friendly and it felt like home. I was travelling with my 9 months old baby and they really adopted him! Everything was extremely clean and breakfast was delicious! I really recommed it to other travellers. You won t be disappointed

Great staff! Really friendly. My flights were delayed and they sorted out a 4am transfer for me! Would recommend!
