Helpful warm and friendly couple. Nice room, privacy. Fantastic location in Centro Havana. Old Havana and also the Malecon are within walking distance. So is Vedado if you like to walk. Delicious cuban breakfast of fruit and omelette.

This was the first time we had ever decided to stay in a &Casa Particular&and had a number of fears surronding the concept. Inside the first 30 seconds of meeting Ana and Alberto all of our fears were disappeared. Ana is as warm as your long lost Grandma, often bringing us tea and coffee without asking (Earl Grey I may add! ) and perpetually smiling, and Alberto speaks fluent English and has a miriade of exciting views on Cuban politics that hes more than pleased to discuss with you. The room was situated on the third floor of a traditional Cuban building right inside the center of Havanna and was absoulutley spotless with a beautiful balcony overlooking the street. The aircon worked quietly and efficiently, the shower hot and the towels wondefully clean (which were changed each day along with the sheets). We stayed in a number of resorts throughout Cuba and this was without a shadow of a doubt the very best (and cheapest) place we stayed at. I cant recommend it highly enough. Lee && Sally (UK)

This is a great place to stay in central Havana, just a 15-minute walk from Parque Central, the Capital building, as well as the west edge of old Havana. Its a very secure walk too, we did it numerous times night and day over an eight day stay. We were within the room with a small balcony overlooking the street, but noises was not a problem with the shutters closed and curtains drawn. It is a large room with a very tall ceiling and a great bedroom suite with drawers and mirrors. There is certainly a television within the common room with Cuban news, sports, and other programs. This casa is on the second floor, although in this building that means four flights of stairs, so be ready for that each and every night. Ana is enchanting and keeps the place very tidy and clean. She also prepares an excellent large breakfast with fruit, juice, as much coffee as you need, eggs, and bread well worth the extra 4 CUCs ($4) per person. Her husband Alberto speaks English and can help with advice and directions if your Spanish is not so great. We liked everything about our stay here and returned for four a lot more nights right after four weeks of travelling around Cuba. We extremely recommend this casa particular to others.

Had a outstanding time staying Casa Ana Morales - the owners, Ana and Alberto are incredibly warm and friendly and helpful; Alberto is also fluent in English and is pleased to help uncover things to see and do, or simply talk about life in Cuba. The location is convenient, within easy walking distance of each Habana Viejo and Vedado; and the room was wonderfully spacious, clean, and secure!

Owners are really nice. Huge enough for two or three and clean room. Not far (and not too near) from old town. Only few minutes walk from Marecon street. I need to stay again.

I can&'t locate a better location in Havana. $25 for a room as clean as 4 star hotel. Location is not really central but just 5-10 minutes walk! Alberto (Ana&'s husband) speaks exceptional English and has been traveled around! He can share a lot with you about Cuba!
