Location. Right within the middle in between the old town and the another end of Dubrovnik, which we didn&'t go and apparently had a lot a few really great beaches. So it&'s straightforward to walk to the old town (20 min) but note that there&'s a hill in between. The bus stops are close to the guesthouse too. Owners are friendly and gave us cold juices to drink when we arrived on the very hot day.

It was not at tourism area, which is GOOD. Staff was friendly, not very well english speaking but everything worked out.

Rather clean place, looks like they did reconstruction few months ago. A/C - in August in Dubrovnik it&'s really very good to come to cool room.

You are conveniently situated close to the harbor and the bus station, and you avoid the crowd of the old town. Very friendly, family-style atmosphere

Not so far from bus station/ ferry terminal and not too far to walk into old town so quite good location but very hard to find initially. Room had aircon. Very warm and friendly host.

Very warm and friendly staff, superb AC, fridge in the kitchen. Several markets and banks conviniently just next to the hostel, also walking distance to each bus station (also ferry port) and old town. However the walk was quite sweaty in July heat, but there were busses running also.

The location is excelent! You will be within the middle of Dubrovnik! If u dont like walking you can catch the bus in Vukovarska street (less than 5 min walk from Kusalo) to get to the Old Town GRAD (10 min by bus or 25 walking) or to nice beaches like Copacabana (do NOT miss this one). However, since you are within the middle you can walk anywhere and it is so much better that way since any spot in Dubrovnik is worth a picture. I strongly suggest to walk anywhere you go! It is worth it! The staff is very cool too, very generous and willing to make you feel at home. Extremely clean and fresh environment. They have a nice terrace at which you can appreciate fresh drinks or eat your meals if you are willing to cook (which they will allow on their very properly equiped kitchen). You have SUPERmarket (2 actually) very close and a spot to purchase sim card for your phone if you are staying in Croatia for long time. Just come, walk and Enjoy!
