A really great spot - especially for couples looking for value for their money! The old city is extremely expensive in case you want some privacy, and Anka Rooms was perfect! The staff is a family and they are all extremely friendly. We got welcome drinks and snacks as soon as we got there, and one night we were able to try some delicious home made cake! The garden view is nice and comforting right after a day of travelling, especially at sunset. The bed is large and comfortable, and the location is great for Dubrovnik. The harbour is close, which is great for day excursions and arriving/leaving by boat. It&'s also easy to get to the old city and bus station from there. There&'s a great pizzeria (La Luna) about 5 mins away, with costs way a lot more affordable than the old city. Thanks for the great stay Anka + Family!

The family were wonderful, so helpful, friendly && kind. Really made us feel at home. So much far better than staying at a charmless, sterile hotel. A really pleasant 15minute walk to the Old Town or 15 mins the other way to the port. Super clean && peaceful.

Nothing to complain. The lady is a lovely person, extremely friendly. She makes a huge effort to explain everything, once she doesn&'t know how to speak in english. Her son is always there and he speaks english.

Staff was very nice and helpful, although they gave us a bad description to the principal busstation. The bhus ride which was supposed to take 15-20 minute took us 45 min, so we almost missed our bus to get out of town there. Altough there were some annouances it was a nice stay and especially for Dubrovnik its a great option for a low budget.

Lovely location about 15 minute walk from the old town in one direction and 15 mins to the main bus stop and port inside the other so pretty excellent place for individuals moving onto korcula or hvar etc. Employees couldn&'t have been far more friendly and helpful we were greated with cool drinks and biscuits on arrival and told how to get around the area and local marketplaces etc. Outstanding scenery into harbour and beyond from the terrace and pretty clean, light and airy rooms! I can go on and on but basically I can&'t suggest this location enough!

Superb hospitality. On arrival we were all given a fruit juice then Ante ( the son of the owners ) gave us a map and lent some guide books then spent twenty minutes or so explaining how best to get around etc. As we travelled prior to the start off of the principal season ( early April ), the double room opposite ours wasn&'t being rented out at the time we&'d booked, so we were given that room in addition to our own at no extra cost. Nothing was too much trouble for the family, whose lodging was on the next storey up. There were great scenery from outside our front door but in case you walk up the steps outside the lodging for 40 metres or so then walk south, parallel to the coastline, there are truly spectacular vistas to the North. As you walk further South, there are impressive scenery of the old town. Loads of storage space in one of the double rooms. Ante took us to the airport at the end of our stay and charged around &xa3;10 less than the cab driver who took us from the airport at the start off of the holiday.

This place is fantastic. The employees are super nice and helpful, the place is extremely very clean. The location is perfect, and it&'s extremely secure and secure. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are quiet. Altogether a fantastic place to stay and fantastic value for money.
