Almost Paradise is exactly that, almost paradise. The view from the deck/bar is fabulous. It feels like you&'re up in the trees with a view of the ocean. Doesn&'t get much better than that. The owners are wonderful, helpful and kind and according to my boyfriend, make the extremely best cup of coffee around. We loved our stay there and would suggest it to anyone!

The employees made our stay. Not only is this location right by the beach with stunning views, but the property owner work their buts off to create sure you have a amazing time and they even go as far as to recommend other places to stay on your journey (Thanks for the RON recommendation, what a legend! ) I would gladly go back for a visit! The staff had overbooked but were very helpful in moving me to another room (an upgrade at no extra cost). There&'s a cooking area for use, food at the bar, superb views from the balconies and bar. Really close to the nearest beach but a 20-min walk to the &'town&' of Guiones in case you need to buy supplies.

Almost Paradise was in a great location, 5 minute walk to Playa Pelada and 10 minute walk to Playa Guiones. We stayed in the dorm room which had bunkbeds and a porch with 3 hammocks, many chairs, and an ocean view. In the morning, monkeys would swing from the trees next to our porch. It was an awesome sight. The owners are very nice and friendly and serve breakfast for a reasonable price. Nosara is a really cool area with a lot of character. Not as developed as other beach towns in CR. We loved it and I'm planning to bring my whole family to stay at AP for a few days.
