A small hostal - 2 dorms and 3 rooms, no party hostel. I liked everything: location, clean dorms with ensuite bathroom, hot wather, fantastic breakfast, very helpful staff, 2 cute dogs, little garden with hamacas :) I really enjoyed my stay there (despite the rainy weather) Gracias!

This hostel is in a exceptional location; basically in town. Less than 5 minutes from exactly where the bus drops you off. The employees is helpful and you can book tours right at the hostel and they will call the tour company to come pick you up. The hostel itself was clean and felt secure (there were also lockers in the dorm rooms). Breakfast consists of cereal and fruit.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location in Monteverde. Near to supermarket. Room is clean, with our own bathroom. Great shower.

I totally loved my stay at Monteverde Backpackers. Alonso and the rest of the staff took care of me and helped me book all of my tours - zip lining, bungee and so on - and took me to nearby hikes, restaurants and festivals and we even had a BBQ! The rooms were clean, free internet, lockers, hot showers, breakfast and coffee were served within the morning, the other visitors were friendly and enjoyable and I felt completely safe even though it was my first time traveling alone. The grocery store and a bunch of other restaurants were just up the block. This spot made me fall in enjoy with Costa Rica!

Very good location close to everything and a helpfull reception about info within the area. The rooms and living room are cleaned each and every day and it feels safe at the hostel.

I like everything of this hostel, only 1 block away from the supermarket, effortless to go and get food and beers, cook at the hostel, you can use everything, refrigerador, stove, microwave, in the morning there is coffee and nice breakfast along with the better thing about it, is that each dorm room has the own private bathroom along with the very best hot showers that u can locate in Costa Rica, also the stuff is really nice, happy and friendly and help you out with the very best tours and deals and also how to get around the country. I really like this hostel i recomment you to stay here in case you are going to Monteverde, you would feel relax, just like at your home. They also have computer and wi fi internet.
