Wonderfully helpful staff. Great facilities. The kitchen/dining region is fantastic for meeting new people over coffee or board games, plus it has huge windows with a view of the mountains, just perfect. Right close to two inexpensive but delicious sodas.

Jose, the owner, is awesome! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. he helped us decide and book all of our excursions and we just paid for it all at the end. The first morning our excursion left at 7:00 and we asked about missing breakfast and he asked us, &"What time would you like breakfast 6:30&" even though breakfast didnt start off until 7, the cook came in early just for us! And, the eggs and pancakes we ordered were hot and delicious! ( Order eggs and pancakes! Pancakes hot and fluffy! ) Then, the next morning, the cook was there early and we didn&'t even ask! ) We also called house for free! A super cute spot and very inexpensive !

I loved everything about this hostel! I wish we would have stayed there longer. Loved Jose, he was a lifesaver and helped us with our transportation to other parts of Costa Rica. when we arrived to Monteverde it was already dark out, but they had a staff person awaiting us at the bus station which was a miracle since we were so nervous about finding our way around a tiny town in the dark! They let us use the hostel ipad to make calls to the US to let our family know we had arrived in CR safe and sound. that was also a miracle since our phones had no signal. Breakfast was also delicious. just can&'t say enough fantastic points about this place! Make sure to include this spot on your trip to Costa Rica, you won&'t be disappointed!

The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. The employees is extremely helpful. even with activities in other parts of Costa Rica. It was like having a local family member that had no other agenda other than wanting you to have the really best probable experience in this country.

The employees were brilliant. The view was lovely from the cabino. The breakfast was delicious with a outstanding choice. Overall it was brilliant value for money and I definitely suggest this as a location to stay.
