Second trip to stay here, wonderful location off the noisy key road, appealing pool region with hammocks, tables, chairs, 10 minute walk to beach, office is right next to the National Park ticket office. Excellent early morning wildlife watching looking up into the trees surrounding the back of the property- lots of colorful birds and occasional monkeys in huge tree inside the distance, whilst drinking the free coffee. Air con worked well inside the really basic but clean room with clean sheets on old foam double bed mattress, usefull tall shelving unit. The twin rooms have regular matresses. Excellent helpful freindly staff, free outdoor movies nightly. Sad for the howler monkeys -- each time when there was a large boom went off The Hunger Games the howlers over inside the National Park would roar in protest. Excellent electrcal outlet for charging. We had a discrepancy among cost we reserved on Hostelbookers as well as the cost actually being charged, but management gave us the Hostelbookers cost and then updated Hostelbookers page. AC room now $45 instead of $35. There may be other $45 AC rooms around Manuel Antonio but this nonetheless location nonetheless gives access to all the other benefits of staying here so we will be back for a third stay next year.

The Location of the Hostel is excellence. It is just a 2 Minute Walk from the Beach und directly next to the national park. The hostel has a open kitchen, which is nice.

There is a pool, movies playing outside every single night, and great location. Following a mistake with out booking we were put in a &"luxury apartment&" that was very nice and had a comfortable bed.
