I&'ve stayed in many Costa Rican hostels in my year and a half here and Tony&'s is definitely in the top two hostels I&'ve stayed in whilst in Costa Rica. Eduardo was helpful from the get go, helping with instructions from my bus station to the hostel and was very flexible and reliable. Carolina was also fantastic and I never had any doubts about either of them. The facilities were spotless, which is a lot more than I can say for most hostels in Costa Rica. It might seem faraway from happenings in Heredia, but it was silent and relaxing, which was welcome after a long journey.

Clean, great value for money. Wonderful, warm and friendly and helpful owners/staff - brothers and sister Eduardo, Carolina and Manuel, a pleasure to meet them and their parents (their mother is Tony). Coffee on hand and a properly facilitated, spacious cooking area if you need to cook in.

Tony&'s hostel is a well designd and exceptionally clean small hostel. This is not the loud party spot that some hostels are but that is certainly not what we were looking for. We wanted a clean and comforting spot to sleep and relax in between other events. And this was it. The beds were nice with thick mattresses and newish, great quality sheets and blankets. Tony went above and beyond the call of duty in helping us discover information about the concert that we were attending. He made a number of calls to help with tickets and travel arrangements. What a nice guy!

The greatest hostel we `ve ever stayed! Warm and friendly and helpful owner. Really clean rooms, Massive kitchen to cook. No cost internet access.
