Stuff was very friendly and helpful. everything was clean and looked nice. Within the TV-corner it was straightforward to meet new people. For entrance it is necessary to ring the bell, so not everyone was able to enter.

The staff was really nice and super helpful. When we arrived first on of our backpacks got lost due to the flight company but the property owner even borrowed us his toothpaste so we could at least clean our teeth! The hostel is really close to the airpot and they offer a no cost airport shuttle. Furthermore its one of the only hostels we came across that has a working computer with internet.

I felt extremely secure at Maleku hostel. It felt like I was staying with friends or family due to the fact the atmosphere was so friendly. The employees were really nice.

A great spot to crash the night before my airport departure. Close to big, contemporary supermarket. Accessible by bus from center of San Jose. Exceptional hot water shower.
