The owner, Martha, is just lovely. She treats you like family, and although she doesn&'t speak much English, she really makes an effort to help you understand. She was very helpful in suggesting items to do around the area. The rooms are cleaned daily, which is nice, the kitchen is properly stocked, the garden is a very nice spot to sit and have a beer in, along with the wireless works well. Extremely outstanding value for such a nice place, we loved our stay here.

New building with nice rooms and excellent facilities. Good, noiseless location between bus terminal and Plaza Mayor. Warm and friendly employees and little breakfast as bonus.

I liked extremely much the courtesy of the owner, her kindness, her hospitality, extremely outstanding person! And also the place &is fantastic, relax, quiet, almost mistical! i recomand it! But now the hostel is closing as nicely as the property owner moved to hotel el solar, i stayed also there and i also recomand people to try it, just to meet with marty the owner, fatastic woman!

Martha, the owner is delightful - extremely welcoming. The grounds are fantastic - really nice atmosphere. Our room was extremely nicely decorated. It was silent from 11pm-8am. Wireless worked extremely well.

We expected to stay inside the &'el Solar&' on the edge of town but instead we were moved to the one inside the centre - brand-new beds, sheets, pillows and everything else. The owner is extremely friendly (don&'t be put off she&'s like that with everyone - embrace it! ) and will go out of her way to help you. Nice fruit and bread/crackers for breakfast and free coffee too.

Once I finally got to the hostel, the room was really comfortable, and location was really good. The whole issue was finding the hostel, which was a pretty miserable experience. If el solar does not do a much better job with providing directions along with confact phone number and direct email to get in touch with them, I would instruct all people staying there to simply take a taxi.
