Very warm and friendly employees who spoke exceptional English. Employees were incredibly helpful with booking excursions, trains etc, and didn&'t push their own day trips at all if you wanted to do it alone. Lots of big, clean rooms and clean bathrooms. Bar with pool table and common location with computers. Location was completely perfect.

The price is right of course. Also, the atmosphere was great! It&'s very conventional chinese living. It&'s very open and didn&'t stink. The beds inside the 12 dorm region were adorable. It reminded me of a tree house. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Good location and easy to find. Staff speak superb English and were friendly. The buildings are extremely nice and room are large. Washer is obtainable for 10RMB for a load but the dryer is an extra 15RMB (can hang clothes in courtyard or your room). All in all an ok hostel for a brief stay in case you can put up with the bathrooms.

It is a very gorgeous hostel, one of the very best that we have stayed! it&'s very silent but in case you want few drinks there are a lot of bars next door to the hostal! and great location, too!

The building had a conventional chinese architectual design and was nicely situated within the city wall with extremely friendly, helpful staff.
