It was really close to the walking mall through to the bund. There were restaurants and shops for meals and snacks close too. There were lots of helpful directions to traveler places around the walls.

These guys were great. I was in Shanghai for an afternoon and since I left before six, once I got my change, I&'m pretty sure they let me stay for next to nothing. Really nice employees and really friendly. Super close to East Nanjing road and the metro station.
