Service very good. No cost pickup from bus station. The room like chinese traditional very beautiful. I&'m so impression with room. Room and bathroom are clean and warm in winter.

The owners couldnt have been far more helpful and spoke exceptional english! They upgraded my dorm room to a private which was a nice break from dorms for me! The room was quiet and it even had towels!

The situation, is inside the city centre, just beside all the attarctions in Paingyao. You don&'t need to walk too much ;)

The hostel is very very pretty - it is a lovely courtyard hotel, as properly as the &'cozy bar&' has a fantastic atmosphere (despite being v expensive! ). It&'s on the primary street in the old town. The tour to Wang&'s Courtyard as properly as the underground tunnel town was fine - absolutely nothing remarkable though.

The location was great, although Pingyao is so small that almost anywhere would be good. The courtyard set up was cute, but felt the hostel plays on this alot. The owners did provide to call ahead to our next destination to try and help organise a room for us as we were struggling to locate somewhere, however, she just said no they don&'t have availability (we managed to organise our own room at the same hostel 10 minutes later). The traditional beds are extremely comfortable even if they do take up the whole room - however, the first room we saw didn&'t have a traditional bed and was extremely uncomfortable.
