It&'s clean, the employees are friendly and helpful, and it has everything a hostel should have. The Mingtown chain of hostels throughout China is really nicely managed, unlike some other youth hostels I stayed in in the country. No cost wireless in lobby, quiet. Located opposite a very nice lake. Wake up early in the morning to catch locals practising gongfu, dancing, fishing and drinking tea there. Extremely authentic Chinese experience.

It was close to some very relaxing parks as well as the oldest library in China. The staff were helpful in directing us to points of interest in and around Ningbo. Each dorm bed had it's own locker allocated.

Easy to locate following the train ride. Nice park all around. The city center was inside walking distance.
