You could just walk into the old city of Lijiang and from the windows in front of the rooms you have a very nice look on the old city. The manager, mister John is very friendly and willing to help you with everything you want.

I really enjoyed walking around the old town, and the hotel's location is just perfect. The upgraded room I stayed in was value for money, and coming from Singapore, I was surprised to find Bak Kut Teh served in the cafe, and it was really tasty, if you're a foodie, you must try it!

Proximity to the Old Lijiang Town. Warm and friendly and helpful staff, especially the General Manager, who speaks exceptional English and is extremely knowledgeable about the town. Recently restored rooms. Really reasonable hotel rate.

Loved the location, it's within the old Lijiang Town, next to a river, very tranquil and yet only minutes walk to the centre. staff are warm and friendly. i stayed at the renovated rooms, they are a steal for the amount i paid. imagine my surprise when i was offered Illy Expresso and Cuppucino at the cafe! one more surprise, the general manager's english sheep dog that followed him aroung is such a darling - a must see for all dog lovers! the GM also taught me the art of drinking Pu-Er tea!

Loved the location, it&'s within the old Lijiang Town, next to a river, very peaceful and yet only mins walk to the centre. staff are warm and friendly. i stayed at the redesigned rooms, they are a steal for the amount i paid. imagine my surprise when i was offered Illy Expresso and Cuppucino at the cafe! one much more surprise, the general manager&'s english sheep dog that followed him aroung is such a darling - a must see for all dog lovers! the GM also taught me the art of drinking Pu-Er tea!

The hotel director, John, is fantastic. He took the time to show me around town and even took me out to dinner. Fantastic service!

This is an excellent place to stay, just a few minutes walk outside of the old town. John the hotel manager was very pleasant and made us feel incredibly welcome.
