Some members of employees were really warm and friendly and willing to help out, chat and give their advice. Location was good, with a stunning balcony area overlooking the Old Street, exactly where you could watch as an artist sold his hand painted fans to tourists. Private room was pleasant and comfortable.

The staff were so helpful - top marks there. They booked us our bus to the Huangshan mountain, a night&'s stay at a discount cost in a hotel on the mountain, and our coach back to Shanghai. This included a ride from the hostel to exactly where the coach departs which was exceptional and made our trip tomthe region relatively hassle free. Employees spoke great English and were able to give us great directions and a map of Tunxi. The location is fantastic, on the main street of the old section of the city which is straightforward to locate. The bar did great food but it&'s a little expensive. The hostel building is very nice and properly laid out. I liked the Western style toilets and great showers. It was very nice and spacious, a lot of storage space.

Staff were excellent, very helpful and booked taxi and holiday accommodation on mountain, and coach back to Shanghai. We stayed in double room ensuite which was adequate. Room and bathroom clean could do with a bit of an update, room was slightly dark, needs a lot more light.

The location is great--lots of restaurants and shops near by. The employees here is pretty helpful. The room is clean and has enough spaces to lay things on and nonetheless can walk around.

Great hostel! the employees helped us to organize the tour to huangshan and also booked for us the beds in the hotel at the summit. the room was clean and nice along with the location is wonderful.

Super warm and friendly and helpful staff. helped to book buses, trains, and holiday accommodation @ the mountain. Location is extremely central. The dormitory was quiet, clean, had lockers - most important things for backpackers. nice areas to hang out.

Great place for climbing yellow mt, hostel help with everything you need (info, map, food to take with you etc) and even lend walking sticks for free!
