Right near West Lake inside walking distance and convenience to public transport. The hostel is classicism and spacious, same go to the room. Straightforward access with WiFi, allowing us in touch with our others while travelling at ease.

We booked a private four-bed dorm, it was a very good sized basic room, the heating kept it warm at night. The staff were really pretty and nice to chat to. They were attentive when we arrived at nighttime desperate for food, and didn&'t get angry when we woke them up and went out at 2. 30am, they actually helped with directions to a late night bar. Super exceptional value and a minutes walk from the West Lake, can easily go out for a very good run around it from the hostel! Lots of shops, restaurants, bars, museums, cafes, about 15 minutes walk down the road.

Great location for the west lake. Straightforward to find. Although cold, the common room had lots of character and was busy each and every night. Stayed in 6 bed dorm, beds were fine by Chinese standards. Had own kettle in bedroom which was a nice touch! Remarkable for the cost :)
