The owner, Dan, is a super nice guy who&'s really helpful with tips and places to go in Haikou. On the morning we left, he even walked us out to the road and showed us exactly exactly where to take our bus to the train station.

Likes just everything! The owner is a great guy, taking you out for some real Haikounese food, but dont expect a normal hostelstay its a lot more like a homestay, which is just great!

I just have to begin off with that the hostel owner is a outstanding guy. He is all about showing you the true china and taking you to the authentic places around the hostel. The household who lives at the home is also really sweet and helpful

Dan was fantastic! I was travelling on your own and there were no other travellers in the hostel. Dan was so helpful by showing me the local places. Even when my computer started acting up, he called a friend of his to look at it for me.

Quiet location, yet effortless walk or bus to sites. The owner, Dan, was very friendly and helpful. He took us to a local tea home for breakfast, explained local culture and cuisine, and offered trip ideas. He even personally made sure we got on the right bus for our next destination.
