MingQing Hostel is located just besides the Chongqing HuGuang Guild Hall, a national tourist spot. It is a really conventional square building with two floors and two yards, and with a long history of 300 years, dating back to the end of Ming Dynasty and beginning of Qing Dynasty. It is called one of the Three New Traveler Spots of Chongqing Yuzhong Area with the other two bieng Xiejia Courtyard and Former Residence of Huziang.

Great Setting and Character ! Location is greatest beginning point for strolls through the streets which by now are still characterized by the mix of very old not yet demolished houses and newer ones of all decades. The hostel presents everything you basically need.

How can I describe the stay, disaster service, no aircon in dorm while arnd 35 celsius during the night with high moisture, one night stay can dehydrate your body. while the hostel put the wrong location in the map and not helpful to make suggestions when you get lost in chongqing's complicated road system. i booked the dorm but the staff give me the key without room number, you should help yourself to uncover out which room, when you get inside the dorm, the disaster service end while the extreme temp. nightmare began. well, you gain the surprises, do not miss it.
