Amazing &"lobby&" to hang around. Huge quantity of different services offered, e. g. printing post cards and tour to the Fantastic Wall. Really helpful introduction at arrival with recommendations where to go and what to be aware of. Extremely best hostel ever!

It has lots of character, in an excellent little Hutong location. About 15 mins walk to nearest tube, 30 mins or a bus to Forbidden City. Rachel and Rick are very nice and warm and friendly and their Wonderful Wall tour was excellent (our group were the only individuals on that section of the wall! ).

- Wonderful staff, they suggested some exceptional eating places for us, and arranged a great trip to the Wonderful Wall. They had a lot of information about local attractions, and were extremely friendly. - Decent food for breakfast. - Nice rooms with big beds and bathrooms, and with their very own heaters. - In a silent region close to the Forbidden City.

Excellent introduction, could have used it when we first arrived in Beijing. Really helpful documents provided including a map with Chinese and also the hotel card has Chinese so you can use it for cabs

Very helpful employees who spoke really great English. Very good atmosphere, generally clean. The dorm was much more like 2 four bed dorms than one eight bed, the upper portion of which had really comfy single beds. I like small hostels, so with one dorm and maybe 5 or 6 private rooms I liked the size.

The location is completely awesome. Everything is reachable within 15 mins. Just one advice: don&'t take bus no 5 at car peaktime (5-7) :D also the staff is really helpful and helps travellers to arrange trips to the wall etc. The tips that can give you are great. We liked the courtyard style of the hostel too. It is really comfortable to just sit inside the yard and rrelax from a day of walking.
