I pick this hostel due to the fact of the location and price. So yeah, the location is just great, and the hostel is easy to find. I also have to say, that most of the employees were really friendly, especially the guy on the desk spoke really outstanding English and helped always!

It is situated in a friendly, peaceful region of Beijing, but close enough to several touristy, interesting places. Compared to other Beijing hotels and hostels I thought it was excellent value for money. It has an awesome bar exactly where you can relax in comfort and listen to live music; eat fabulous food, brilliantly presented; meet other people. I didn&'t use it, but there is certainly an region outside to hang wet washing. There&'s also a separate outside &'terrace&'&' exactly where you can sit. Staff were pretty - and spoke English well, which is an awesome plus! The travel agent, Michael, booked a bus and a show for us and was very helpful.

Easy to uncover and handy to get to all of the sights. The shower was excellent, particularly very good at fighting off the effects of jet lag! Very useful travel rep, Michael. He helped with a tour to the wall and has encyclopaedic knowledge of the local eateries.

Relatively low-cost bar and restaurant were extremely convenient. Employees were generaly extremely helpful. Directions to different traveler points of interest were a very good idea although some directions a little vague and confusing. Overall superb considering the cost paid.

The location is really good, along with the staff (especially the guy at the travel desk) is really helpful in giving directions. The restaurant has delicious pesto pasta and is really handy although it&'s a bit pricey. The HostelBookers rate is an excellent discount off the walk-in rate (be guaranteed to write down what you owe, though we had no trouble).
