Best hostal in Santiago! Just loved the place! rooms are amazingly cool, the environment is just awesomeeee. it has a beautiful rooftop in the yard excellent for spending time with friends and meeting individuals from all over the world! the bed rooms are really comfortable, and living rooms are super cool, but the top thing about this place is the staff, Alex, Diego, Dario, Juanma, Vicky, Tam, Stephanie, Zuko are superrrrr friendly, they are super helpful and make you feel fully at home, they even spend time with the visitors and you will become friends with them in no time! The place is extremely clean, and it&'s on a excellent location. Breakfast is extremely basic but delicious and satisfying. but the top part of staying here was the bbqs on mondays. you can eat all the meat you want, drink all the pisco and beers you&'d like for a excellent price and all the visitors from the hostal get together and hang out. definitely a place to recommend if you come alone to meet individuals or if you come with friends to meet new people, party and have a excellent time! We fell in enjoy with this hostal and we are pretty sure you will too! we&'ll be back for more next year for sure!

Some staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a very good size. My mattress was comfortable. Location is noiseless enough. Feels safe. Common location with couches and cable television. Free wifi, usually with very good connection. Cooking area nicely equipped.

Ador&e la est&etica del lugar, sus espacios enormes, el jard&in, el desayunador y la hermosa atenci&on de toda la gente del staff. La conexi&on wi fi es excelente! Se encuentra muy cerca de dos estaciones de metro: Patronato o Bellas Artes, pero recomiendo la segunda. A una cuadra, sobre Loreto, hay un restaurant de comida &arabe muy bueno!

Atmosphere was extremely good! There&'s a garden exactly where happen some events, and it&'s so nice! All staff was ideal during my stay at El Castillo. Breakfast is normal, with cereal, milk, coffee, tea and, some days, bread.

It&'s a hostel that gets all the details right. For example, every bunk bed within the dorms has its own reading light and there&'s soap and even hand cream in all the bathrooms. The garden is gorgeous (and has hammocks) too, there are free bicycles for the visitors to use and during the weekend we stayed there some of the staff even went out with the guests. Most of the staff are amazing too, especially Alex and Diego.

The hostel was comfortable, with a decent kitchen, warm and friendly employees and nice large common area. Also, there weren&'t a lot of people staying whilst we were there, so the two of us had a four-bed room to ourselves the whole stay, even though we only booked (and paid) for the eight-bed room.
