The most outstanding thing about the hostel was the friendly, helpful, reputable employees who seemed to know and care about their guests. A variety of types of rooms are available, but mine, the single with ensuite bath, was really clean with great ventilation and comfortable bed. Twenty-four hour reception answering the front door presents great security, though not all window locks functioned and there was no secure box for valuables inside the room. Cooking area facilities, free continental breakfast and indoor lounge/outdoor courtyard with benches are available to guests. The courtyard presents a great opportunity to meet other travellers and everyone seems to respect the noiseless policy--some conversation into the evening, but lights off and noiseless by midnight. The region is secure and convenient: situated on a well-lit street, effortless to walk to eating places and only about 4 blocks to the Metro station. Payment by credit card or cash is accepted.

This is easily the greatest hostel I stayed at in South America, and I have been to some good ones. The helpfullness of the staff is second to none, the decoration is warm and tastefull, as well as the beds are so cozy you wont need to get up in hurry. Nuno was extremely helpfull with regards suggestions for items to do/tours, with consideration taken as regards what I was into and wanted to do. The location is superb too, a noiseless secure street, with a affordable internet cafe, laundry, ATM, bars, shops and so on are all really close. Youre also a brief walk from the more lively bar area as well as the hike up to the greatest viewpoint in Santiago. If youre here to party its still a outstanding base and they will send you to the greatest nightspots. A fantastic location to stay!

Great spot and also the staff is extremely helpful. There was a problem with the bookings via internet, yet they maintained to get me a room on the spot and also helped me with the rest of my itinerary. I would definitely recommend it and come back again.

Great hostel right in heart of Providencia near various of the language schools. This hostel was clean with hot showers and no bunk dorms available. Lovely lounge region with full satellite in each English and Spanish. Extremely simple breakfast included. What made this stand out was helpfulness of Nico on reception who made effort to ensure I had fun. Also cleaning employees Suli and Cecilia with whom I practiced my English with each morning over breakfast.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and secure place. Each and every bed has its own HUGE locker. First decent breakfast i ever had in my South American trip. Cheers guys!
