We really enjoyed our stay at Hostal Pucon. The location is very quiet, but only a brief walk from the primary street along with the bus stations. Clean room, superb kitchen, with a TV and fireplace inside the public section (the owner helped us get the fire going properly each night! ). Also a picnic bench inside the garden outside for when the sun shines! Excellent value. Would suggest for couples or those seeking a quiet stay.

After the double booking of our room and the prices been almost double what was advertised I really didn't want to like this place - however, the building is really cosy, there is never a lot of people there so cooking etc is really easy, the location is really good and best of all there were 5 little newborn puppies at the house! I would reccomend this to couples, especialy if you can get the ensuite double for $22 which is awesome value.

The place was beautiful. it was like our own little cabin and we were lucky enough to be the only ones staying there. like most people said, it isnt a place to meet people but if you go with buddies it isn&'t really necessary.

It was cheap, very cosy with a nice stove. I&'d enjoy to come back inside the summer time with a huge crowd, as I went off season. But a nice relaxed location to stay. owners next door and pop in each so often to stoke up the stove, nice people. Kind of halfway between a cabin and a hostel!

It has a really lovely, homely atmosphere, a nice, well equiped communal cooking area and living room, the owners are friendly, and it&s really cheap!
