Although is not in downtown, PR is so small that you are there in 5 minutes. The Wireless and also the cooking area are exceptional as properly as the rooms.

This was a really clean and warm and friendly spot to stay, it was near to town and had a really comfortable atmosphere, it was lovely.

Spotlessly clean, exceptional facilities including totally equipped kitchen, laundry washing and internet. Friendly lounge to meet other guests and appreciate an indoor game. Would extremely recommend for all ages

Although we only stayed one night the place struck us as very pleasant, clean and friendly. We stayed at C&N in Port Hardy and compared to the Black Rooster that place was not even worth promoting or mentioning. Way to expensive for a hostel and no helpfulness much less service there. I'd stay at the Black Rooster again when in Prince Rupert. A big thumbs up.

The peace and quiet. This is easily the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. A lot of thought had been put into the facilities (e. g. phones in the rooms with free local calls, free detergent in the laundry, really comfortable common room, superb kitchen. )
