Excellent hostel located right inside the city centre. Small hostel, feels much more like a house with an excellent living room and cooking area downstairs. Will definitely stay here again!

Barefoot hostel is like home, a large comfortable sitting area, spacious shower room and soft duvets. I planned to spend 3 nights at a local trendy hostel, soon after 1 night there I&'ve booked myself back into the Barefoot hostel. The Metro market place is 2 minutes walk away and also the rideau center 5 minutes walk away.

I loved the large lounge and TV and no cost access to the internet. Also had a very good kitchen and also the staff were very warm and friendly and helpful. It was nice and central and spotlessly clean with pretty huge bathrooms.

Washrooms which are probably the best, in all hostels, not only in Canada. Clean. TV SCREEN and compters. Location which is perfect.

This property was in a great location, the employees was extremely friendly, along with the common location was warm and friendly and inviting, including a kitchen location and large TV! It was immaculately clean, and in an location of town that felt safe. I would highly suggest this to anyone needing a location to stay in Ottawa.
