Dodgy place. dorm is on the attic, no window, no water inside the bathroom

This is a great budget place, with OK and clean rooms. We were a group of 4 individuals staying for numerous nights, and had no problems at all. The location is not exactly central, but there is a extremely nice local pub nearby, and you can always catch a tuk-tuk for a 10-minutes ride to the city centre. The spot was quite empty during our stay - not a spot to meet other tourists, but we were not really into that anyway. All in all, suggested as a nice budget place!

Bikes obtainable are old and unused, rented a bicycle and found it had a leak in the tire, had to pay for a ride back to guesthouse. In case you book a dorm be prepared to pay much more for a bed that is certainly actually made to use.

The hosts couldn't do enough for you - very friendly staff who go out of their way to make you welcome. I had my own room with ensuite for a couple of US dollars a night - everything spotlessly clean. The meals at the hostel are delicious and not expensive - and it's in a great location for visiting Angkor Wat. I 'hired' a tuktuk and one of the hostel staff drove me around Angkor Wat all day - he wasn't just a driver but also a brilliant guide. The staff have excellent English and some of them also speak some Japanese. When I was there they had some kittens - all very friendly!

There were construction work going on and I think it&'s gonna look awesome by the time it is finished. It was all really simple, but the staff was helpfl and friendliy.

Well, it was undergoing renovations whilst I was there but you could already see that the improvments they are making are really going to make it an even more satisfying location to stay.
