The owners, Zef and Rumie, were completely adorable. They made me really feel so welcome in their hostel. They even invited me with them to go to the beach! Not only is their hostel lovely with a stunning view and lovely gardens, but they and their cats are so sweet too. I loved staying at Villa del Mar!

Zayfir and Rumi were kind hosts and happily took us in at 4am when we arrived! The hostel is in a pretty and calm village about 20minutes out of Varna, the bus there and back from the cathedral goes quite often and costs just 1 lev. The breakfast was the most effective we had - lots of bread, cheese and excellent espresso.

Watching the sun come up over the Black Sea is beautiful. The owners of Del Mar are trying really hard and are on the right tracks. The weather was exceedingly hot (35c) when I was there so the bed rooms in the converted cellar were the cooler / greater ones

Personal household atmosphere, quiet location, away from all the hustle and bustle of he city and tourists, bus stop 100 yds away (straight to Varna - if required), view over the bay, steps down to the beach and bay nearby, small restaurant on ther rocks ( possible to sit and eat out on the enchanting small pier, considerable variety of meals + drinks, till late), informal breakfast in garden + chat + view over bay, cats + puppy

The garden was a nice place to hang out in -- there are a lot hammocks and chairs. It was pretty nice to be out of the city and mingle with the locals.
